Minnesota Radon Awareness Act Information (Jan 1,2014)
This new Minnesota law requires sellers of residential real estate to make wiritten disclosures regarding radon concentrations in the dwelling they are selling to prospective buyers before entering into a purchase agreement. What does this mean for the Seller - you will need to disclose what you know about the radon levels in your property on the Seller's Property Disclosures and Buyers are required to receive a copy of the MN Department of Health's publication - "Radon in Real Estate Transactions".
