Loan Programs

We have worked with the following lenders that offer the Minnesota Housing Program.  This program can provide up to $18,000 for down payment and closing costs through a 2nd mortgage.

Kootasca Community Action is a local non-profit founded by local citizens in 1965, KOOTASCA Community Action helps individuals, families, and communities fight the multiple causes and challenges of poverty.

Section 502 Direct Loan Program is offered directly through the United States Department of Agriculture NOT a bank or mortgage broker.  It is a program that was developed to assist home buyers that have low and very low income.  This would be an excellent source if you've been declined a mortgage for not meeting minimum income requirements.
